ATH A74 Hilfsmontagearm
Maximum efficiency and full control with extremely stiff wheel-tyre combinations: the pneumatic auxiliary mounting arm A74 sets new standards in professional tyre fitting. Equipped with two independently controllable plate rollers, an integrated tyre inflator and video monitoring of the mounting process, this high-end auxiliary tool optimises even the most demanding workflows for runflat, UHP and low-profile tyres.
Product highlights
The pneumatic auxiliary mounting arm A74 represents the most powerful extension for state-of-the-art tyre changers and was specifically developed to meet the highest demands in professional tyre service. When handling particularly wide, stiff or sensitive tyres such as UHP, runflat and extreme low-profile segments, the system guarantees the highest process reliability as well as maximum protection of the rim and tyre bead.
The core element of the design consists of two completely independently pneumatically controllable plate rollers. These enable exact, pinpoint guiding and holding-down of the bead in the rim well. The flexible control allows the pressure to be dynamically adjusted throughout the entire rotation and mounting process, effectively preventing damage to the tyre carcass or the rim flange.
Control is via an ergonomically designed control panel that supports fatigue-free and precise working. A monitor integrated centrally in the control panel visualises the mounting process in real time. This visual process monitoring allows the operator continuous control of the critical bead area without having to change working position. To further ease the workflow, a professional tyre inflation unit is integrated directly into the control panel, which saves additional work steps and significantly shortens overall throughput per wheel.
The auxiliary mounting arm A74 combines technological precision with high ergonomics and significantly increases cost-effectiveness as well as operational safety in the automotive workshop.
