The ATH RB 20-3 tyre inflation unit is a specialised system extension for permanent mounting on the rear housing of ATH M-series tyre changers. The design provides professional support when inflating difficult wheel-tyre combinations where conventional compressed-air supply via the valve is not sufficient to seat the tyre bead against the rim flange.

With a tank volume of 22 litres, the compressed-air tank provides the required air volume for a sudden release. Control is via a push button, releasing the entire stored volume in the tank instantaneously and directing it via a special nozzle between the rim flange and the tyre sidewall. The resulting pressure impulse immediately presses the tyre bead into the correct seat on the rim.

The dimensions of the pressure tank are 240 mm in diameter and 530 mm in length, which guarantees a compact and space-saving attachment to the machine. The connecting hose included in the scope of delivery, with a length of 2230 mm, provides sufficient freedom of movement for ergonomic and safe handling in daily workshop use. Thanks to permanent installation on the mounting machine, the work area remains tidy while the functionality of the workstation is specifically expanded.
