Ergonomics and Health Protection in the Modern Workshop
In view of continuously increasing wheel and rim dimensions in the passenger car and SUV segment, the physical demands in daily tyre service are growing. The pneumatic tyre lifter offers efficient relief here: it takes over the complete lifting and positioning of the wheel on the wheel balancer's shaft. This ergonomic working principle sustainably protects the operator's spine, minimises signs of fatigue, and actively promotes health protection in the workplace.
Protection for Customer Wheels and Machine Components
In addition to the ergonomic aspect, the lifter ensures uncompromising damage prevention throughout the entire balancing process:
- Precise positioning: A finely controllable pneumatic air bellows makes it possible to align the wheel exactly on the shaft through gentle counter-steering. Hard setting down under full load on the shaft end is reliably prevented.
- Preserving machine value: By avoiding shock loads on the main shaft, mechanical damage and the resulting unplanned recalibrations or measurement inaccuracies of the wheel balancer are averted.
- Damage-free mounting: Particularly with high-value aluminium wheels, the risk of scratches or structural damage during the clamping process is eliminated.
Thoughtful Design for Maximum Process Control
The construction of the tyre lifter is precisely matched to the workflows in professional tyre service. Control is via a robust switch, which is positioned directly on the carriage together with a sturdy handle. This ensures the user always has full control over the lifting movement and provides effective protection against the wheel falling.
The support bracket is designed in a special C-shape, so that access to the wheel fastening and the clamping tools remains completely unobstructed throughout the entire process. Two integrated accessory holders directly on the bracket keep cones or the quick-release nut within reach at all times, thereby optimising travel times at the workstation. The system is designed for universal use and is compatible with the most common passenger car wheel balancers.
