ATH W64 P Plus
Maximum efficiency, ergonomics and precision for high-volume tyre service: the pneumatic car wheel balancer ATH W®64 P Plus, in its extended premium specification, optimises demanding workshop processes through a maximum degree of automation. Through the perfectly coordinated interplay of pneumatic clamping, contact-free sensor technology and an integrated wheel lift, this system ensures extremely fast, effort-reducing and error-free working at maximum wheel throughput in daily professional workshop use.
Product highlights
The ATH W®64 P Plus is a stationary wheel balancer for professional use on car and motorcycle wheels, specifically developed for maximum throughput and ergonomic working. The core of the system is the pneumatic 40 mm clamping shaft which, compared to manual systems, guarantees extremely fast, effort-reducing and material-friendly fixing of the wheel. The extended design of the shaft also enables the flexible use of specialised clamping devices. The standard-included ATH RRH1107 wheel lift significantly minimises the physical strain on the operator when handling heavy wheel-and-tyre combinations and ensures a smooth workflow. A contact-free sonar technology performs the automatic and precise detection of the rim width, which rules out manual measurement errors and significantly shortens set-up times per wheel.
After the measuring run, automatic positioning guides the wheel precisely into the required angular position for attaching the weights. An integrated laser display marks the error-free placement of the adhesive weights in the 6 o'clock position. The scope of delivery includes the high-quality Speedplate Kit with 5-finger system, which guarantees absolutely distortion-free and precisely centred clamping via the bolt holes, complemented by a special large clamping cover for the safe protection of sensitive aluminium rims. All data and measurement results are clearly visualised on a large 22-inch LCD monitor.
For a wide variety of rim types, the machine offers static and dynamic balancing programs as well as specific alloy balancing programs to improve balancing quality on light-alloy wheels. The split behind-spoke function allows visually concealed distribution of the weights behind the spokes, while an integrated optimisation program performs targeted fine-tuning between tyre and rim to minimise the residual imbalance level. The range of application can optionally be extended by means of a motorcycle function. In addition to the balancing shaft, the ATH RRH1107 wheel lift, the Speedplate Kit 5 and the large clamping cover, the scope of delivery includes a ready-to-use accessory package consisting of a rim measuring gauge, weight pliers, a 100 g calibration weight, an Allen key, the mounting tool for the balancing shaft, four centring cones ranging from 45 to 135 mm, and a pneumatically matched quick-release nut.
