The ATH W®44 P Plus represents a technically advanced complete solution for the precise and ergonomic balancing of car wheels in professional workshop use. The foundation of the machine is an extended 40 mm balancing shaft which, by means of pneumatic clamping, guarantees an extremely fast, friction-locked and precisely centred hold of the wheel. Thanks to the extended shaft design, the trouble-free use of specialised and optional clamping devices is ensured at all times. To significantly relieve the operator and prevent damage to the wheel and machine, this Plus model is fitted as standard with the powerful ATH RRH1107 wheel lift, which effortlessly raises heavy wheel-and-tyre combinations to the exact axle height.

A key feature for the sustained reduction of set-up times is the integrated sonar technology, which detects the rim width contact-free, error-free and fully automatically during operation. The included Speedplate Kit with 5-finger flange provides uncompromising clamping quality in the high-end segment, ensuring absolutely distortion-free and rim-friendly centring via the wheel's bolt circles. This system is complemented by a large clamping cover, specially designed for the safe and scratch-free protection of sensitive aluminium rims. After the actual measuring process, automatic positioning independently guides the wheel into the exact balancing position. A precise laser display visually assists the user in the error-free placement of the weights in the ergonomic 5 o'clock position, while a high-contrast LED monitor ensures intuitive and clear operability.

The integrated control software of the ATH W®44 P Plus covers all practice-relevant requirements of modern motor vehicle workshops. In addition to the proven standard programs for static and dynamic balancing, application-specific alloy balancing programs are available, enabling optimised weight placement on modern light-alloy wheels. With split behind-spoke weight placement, adhesive weights can be distributed visually concealed and precisely behind the rim spokes. The integrated optimisation program also allows targeted fine-tuning and so-called matching between tyre and rim, in order to reduce the remaining total weight requirement to a minimum. If required, the machine's range of application can be flexibly extended by means of an optional motorcycle function.

The scope of delivery of the ATH W®44 P Plus is fully designed for immediate professional use. In addition to the ATH RRH1107 wheel lift, the Speedplate Kit 5-Finger and the large clamping cover, it includes a mechanical rim measuring gauge, weight pliers, a 100 g calibration weight, an Allen key, the mounting tool for the balancing shaft, four centring cones in the standard range of 45 to 135 mm, a quick-release nut, a standard clamping cover, and the robust balancing shaft itself.
