EWith the ATH M®31 tyre changer, a powerful and durable new unit is available for professional wheel mounting on passenger cars and light vans. The machine has been specifically designed as a space-saving entry-level and service model, integrating excellently into compact workshop environments thanks to its mounting arm, which swivels 90 degrees to the side. A mechanical mounting head clamp ensures fast and precise fixing directly on the rim contour, minimising non-productive times and ensuring smooth workflows.

The material-friendly clamping and bead-breaking system is based on a self-centring 4-jaw clamping system, controlled via two double-acting aluminium clamping cylinders. This guarantees an absolutely even distribution of clamping force during external clamping of rims up to 20 inches in size. The separately installed, likewise double-acting aluminium bead-breaking cylinder enables powerful yet controlled release of the tyre bead. Through the consistent use of high-quality aluminium components, internal wear caused by condensation in the pneumatic system is effectively reduced, significantly increasing the service life of the entire machine.

A high degree of ergonomics and maintenance-friendliness is achieved through the clearly arranged foot pedal control. This is equipped with a pull-out valve block and durable aluminium valves, which simplifies service work and guarantees permanently precise control. For direct use in the workshop, the ATH M®31 is factory-fitted with an integrated maintenance unit including oiler and water separator, a hand tyre inflator and a tyre lever. The scope of application can also be flexibly extended, via optional system accessories, to the professional mounting of motorcycle wheels.
