The professional ATH W®44 P wheel balancer offers a technically advanced solution for the precise balancing of car wheels in everyday workshop use. The system is based on a robust, extended 40 mm balancing shaft which, through pneumatic clamping, guarantees a fast, ergonomic and absolutely secure hold of the wheel. The extended shaft length also enables the trouble-free use of additional, optional clamping devices.

A key feature for reducing set-up times is the integrated sonar technology, which detects the rim width contact-free and fully automatically. After the measuring process, automatic positioning ensures that the wheel is guided precisely into the correct balancing position. A precise laser display visually assists the user in the exact placement of adhesive weights in the proven 5 o'clock position. Control and display of all relevant data are handled intuitively via a clear, high-contrast LED monitor.

The software architecture of the ATH W®44 P provides a wide range of application-specific programs. In addition to the standard programs for static and dynamic balancing, specialised alloy balancing programs are available, ensuring optimal weight placement on light-alloy rims. Split behind-spoke weight placement allows for a visually concealed and precise distribution of weights behind the rim spokes. An integrated optimisation program also enables fine-tuning between tyre and rim to minimise total weight requirements. For maximum flexibility in operation, the machine can optionally be extended with a motorcycle balancing function.

The scope of delivery of the ATH W®44 P includes a rim measuring gauge, weight pliers, a 100 g calibration weight, an Allen key, the mounting tool for the balancing shaft, four centring cones ranging from 45 to 135 mm, a quick-release nut, a clamping cover, and the balancing shaft itself.
