Product highlights

The ATH W®64 P is a stationary wheel balancer for professional use on car and light-truck wheels, specially developed for maximum process speed in daily workshop use. The system features a pneumatic 40 mm clamping shaft which, compared to manual systems, guarantees extremely fast, effort-reducing and permanently secure fixing of the wheel. In combination with the extended design of the clamping shaft, the flexible use of additional, specialised clamping devices is also enabled. A contact-free sonar technology performs the automatic and precise detection of the rim width, which rules out manual measurement errors and significantly minimises set-up times per wheel.

After the measuring run, automatic positioning controls the wheel precisely into the required angular position for attaching the balancing weights. An integrated laser display marks the error-free positioning of the adhesive weights in the 6 o'clock position. All data, measurement results and operating steps are displayed clearly and with visual support on a large 22-inch LCD monitor.

For different rim types and technological requirements, the machine offers static and dynamic balancing programs as well as specific alloy balancing programs for light-alloy wheels. The split behind-spoke function allows visually concealed and precise distribution of the weights behind the spokes. An integrated optimisation program enables targeted fine-tuning between tyre and rim, in order to reduce the residual imbalance level to a minimum. If required, the machine's range of application can be extended by means of an optional motorcycle function. In addition to the balancing shaft, the scope of delivery includes a ready-to-use accessory package consisting of a rim measuring gauge, weight pliers, a 100 g calibration weight, an Allen key, the mounting tool for the balancing shaft, four centring cones ranging from 45 to 135 mm, a pneumatically matched quick-release nut, and a matching clamping cover.
