Product highlights
The ATH W®24 is a microprocessor-controlled 3D wheel balancer for professional use with car wheels, which can be flexibly extended to motorcycle and light-truck wheels by means of optional accessories. The system features fully automatic 3D data input: distance and rim diameter are determined precisely via the mechanical measuring gauge, while rim width is detected contact-free via modern sonar technology. A digital LED screen visualises the exact positioning of the balancing weights.
The integrated software offers versatile program options for static and dynamic balancing, various ALU programs, ALU weight optimisation, and a concealed behind-spoke placement function. Two mutually independent, precise placement methods are available for attaching the weights: the aluminium measuring arm with a special adhesive-weight holder, and an integrated line laser at the 6 o'clock position. The pedal-operated parking brake reliably locks the wheel in the selected position, thereby supporting the exact working process for both variants. An integrated calibration routine also ensures the long-term measuring accuracy of this compact workshop solution.
