The computer-controlled wheel balancer for car wheels is designed for intensive use in modern motor vehicle workshops and tyre service stations. Through the automatic acquisition of distance, rim diameter and rim width (3D function), the measuring process is considerably accelerated and operating errors are systematically ruled out. Control is via an ergonomically arranged front control panel, complemented by a generously sized weight-box tray with numerous compartments for structured working. A modern microprocessor control guarantees extremely precise detection of imbalances.

The exact placement of the balancing weights is ensured by the digital and optical position display via an LED monitor, as well as the dual laser system (LPS) for the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions. The user has access to versatile software functions, including static and dynamic balancing programs, specific ALU programs, an integrated ALU weight optimisation, and a behind-spoke placement function, which enables concealed attachment of adhesive weights behind the spokes.

The mechanical clamping process is based on a robust 40 mm balancing shaft including an ergonomic quick-release nut. The trouble-free and precise attachment of the adhesive weights is optimally supported by a pedal-operated parking brake, which securely holds the wheel in position, as well as by a mechanical measuring arm and an integrated wheel interior light. The wheel guard is coupled with an automatic start-stop function, which starts the measuring run when lowered and stops it immediately when raised, optimising work safety and cycle time. The unit is primarily designed for car wheels but can be flexibly extended for motorcycle and light-truck wheels (LLKW) by means of optional accessories.
