Increase your workshop's productivity and secure consistently first-class balancing results with maximum operating comfort.
Product highlights
The ATH W®44 wheel balancer offers a technically mature and reliable solution for the precise balancing of car wheels in daily workshop use. The system is based on an extended 40 mm threaded shaft which, in combination with a quick-release nut, provides a fast, friction-locked and precisely centred hold of the wheel. The extended design of the balancing shaft also ensures the trouble-free use of additional, optional clamping devices for special rim types.
A key feature for optimising throughput times is the integrated sonar technology, which detects the rim width contact-free and fully automatically. After the measuring process, automatic positioning independently guides the wheel into the exact balancing position for attaching the weights. A precise laser display visually assists the user in the error-free placement of the weights in the ergonomic 5 o'clock position. Control of the machine as well as the clear display of all relevant measurement data are handled intuitively via a clear, high-contrast LED monitor.
The powerful software architecture of the ATH W®44 covers all practice-relevant requirements of modern motor vehicle workshops. In addition to the classic programs for static and dynamic balancing, application-specific alloy balancing programs are available, which guarantee optimised weight placement on light-alloy rims. With split behind-spoke weight placement, adhesive weights can be attached visually concealed and precisely distributed behind the rim spokes. An integrated optimisation program also enables targeted fine-tuning between tyre and rim, in order to reduce the remaining total weight requirement to a minimum. If required, the machine's range of application can be flexibly extended by means of an optional motorcycle function.
The scope of delivery is fully designed for direct professional use and includes a mechanical rim measuring gauge, weight pliers, a 100 g calibration weight, an Allen key, four centring cones ranging from 45 to 135 mm, a quick-release nut, a clamping cover, and the robust balancing shaft.
