The ATH M®52 A34 is designed as a professional passenger-car tyre changer specifically for intensive and productive use in everyday workshop operations. The integrated, pneumatically controlled assist mounting arm ATH A34 enables effortless and material-friendly demounting and mounting of modern low-profile, UHP and run-flat tyres. The pneumatic rear-pivot unit features automatic distance control to the rim flange, which automatically positions the mounting head during pneumatic clamping, reliably preventing damage to the rim and tyre. Precise and ergonomic control of all workflows is via clearly arranged foot pedals.

The self-centring, pre-settable 4-jaw clamping system ensures secure wheel clamping. Driven by two double-acting aluminium clamping cylinders, it offers an external clamping range of up to 22 inches, which can additionally be adjusted by minus 2 inches. A 3-stage quick adjustment noticeably shortens changeover times for varying wheel sizes in operation. The lateral bead breaker, fitted with a double-acting aluminium cylinder and an integrated anti-jamming system, ensures powerful and controlled release of the tyre from the rim flange. The system is optimally designed for passenger-car wheels and can be flexibly extended with optional accessories for working on motorcycle wheels.
