The ATH M®72 A34 is an extremely powerful passenger-car tyre changer, specifically developed for intensive and economical use in professional everyday workshop operations. The foundation of the machine is a robust, pneumatically controlled rear-pivot unit with an automatic distance function to the rim flange. This technology automatically positions the mounting head at the optimal distance from the rim during the clamping process, reliably preventing unwanted scratches or damage. The intuitive and effort-saving control of all work steps is via ergonomically arranged foot pedals.

The self-centring, pre-settable 4-jaw clamping system, driven by two double-acting aluminium clamping cylinders, ensures secure and material-friendly wheel clamping. With a generous external clamping range of up to 26 inches and an integrated 3-stage quick adjustment, changeover times for varying wheel sizes in operation are noticeably shortened. The standard, pneumatically controlled assist mounting arm ATH A34 enables effortless and damage-free demounting and mounting of demanding low-profile, UHP and run-flat tyres.

The system is complemented by a powerful lateral bead breaker, featuring a double-acting aluminium cylinder and an integrated anti-jamming system, to release the tyre from the rim bed in a controlled and safe manner. The ATH M®72 A34 is optimally designed for the requirements of modern passenger-car wheels and can be flexibly upgraded with optional accessories for working on motorcycle wheels, guaranteeing a future-proof investment for productivity-oriented vehicle workshops.
