The ATH M®72Z Plus WDK is a professional passenger-car tyre changer, specifically developed for the highest efficiency and safety standards in everyday workshop operations. The foundation of the machine is a robust rear-pivot unit with pneumatic mounting head clamping, which features an automatic distance function to the rim flange. This technology automatically positions the mounting head at the optimal distance during clamping, reliably preventing unwanted scratches or damage to the rim. The intuitive and effort-saving control of all workflows is via ergonomically arranged foot pedals.

The height-adjustable centre-bore mounting, operated via a clamping flange and quick-release nut, ensures precise and flexible wheel clamping. The integrated, pneumatically controlled assist mounting arm, in combination with the certified WDK kit, enables completely effortless and material-friendly demounting and mounting of demanding low-profile, UHP and run-flat tyres. The functional scope is complemented by a powerful lateral bead breaker, featuring a double-acting aluminium cylinder and an integrated anti-jamming system, to release the tyre from the rim bed in a controlled and safe manner.

A comprehensive full equipment package, consisting of an integrated wheel lift to relieve the operating personnel, a precise quick-release chuck and a pneumatic mounting finger, rounds off the system.
